Right of Withdrawal

If you are a consumer and you agreed your coaching without meeting in person, for example by email, phone or video call, you have a statutory right to withdraw within 14 days. This page explains that right and gives you the model form.

Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is 14 days from the day the contract was concluded, which is the day your coaching plan was agreed.

To exercise the right you must tell us, [Legal entity name], timonseul@icloud.com, in a clear statement, for example an email or a letter. You may use the model form below, but you do not have to. To meet the deadline it is enough to send your message before the 14 days run out.

Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw, we refund all payments received from you without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day we are told. We refund using the same means of payment you used, and the refund costs you nothing. The one exception is the rule on starting early, below.

If you asked to start before the 14 days were up

Coaching is a service, not a digital product. That distinction matters here. If you ask for coaching to begin inside the withdrawal period, you keep the right to withdraw, but you pay for what was actually delivered up to the moment you withdraw.

If you expressly asked for coaching to start during the 14 days and you then withdraw, you owe a proportionate amount for the sessions and coaching already delivered, measured against the full scope of the contract. The rest is refunded (Art. 14(3) of the Consumer Rights Directive).
If coaching had not started yet, you get a full refund.
The right of withdrawal is lost only once the service has been fully performed, and only where performance began with your express prior request and your acknowledgement that you would lose the right (Art. 16(a) CRD). For ongoing monthly coaching that will rarely be the case inside 14 days.

Ending your coaching for the future, under section 6 of the Coaching Terms, is a separate thing and is always available in addition to this 14 day right.
